I remember going down to Save-on to test tubes from our TV set. My father pulled the tubes, put them in a bag and sent me off to test them. (He was an electrical engineer! Ha ha)

I remember going car camping and fish in the East Sierra with my dad and brother.
We'd camp at 9000' at Lake Sabrina above Bishop. It would be freezing in June when we got out of our sleeping bags in the morning to go fish the lake.
Every year we would go up a different creek off the Owens Valley to camp and fish.
I started backpacking from Sabrina up over Bishop Pass into Dusy Basin as a teener.

I remember dancing with Cher's sister Georganne at Encino Youth Community Center in the mid 60s.

Born in the 60ies: Peace and Love wink.png
Teen in the 70ies: We had it all, fancy clothes, best music from UK, US and all the world over, school trips to the UK , Germany and Spain. Cool parents.
We were all crazy about the UK and their music.
Croissants on Sundays and pancakes after school.
Oh Happy Days! B)

Leaving home and a Draconian father in sleepy Devon at 16yo. To college in London.
Three flatmates. Two Ozzies and a Canadian. Wow! So there Are, people from far away places!
Having the principles of "Dine and Dash" explained. Introduced to the new Expresso Bar scene.
A bar called Heaven & H.ell in Greek St. Soho. The venue of choice.
Coffee in Heaven. Jazz downstairs in H.ell. One small espresso lasting two hours!
The attraction.
Nurses. From Charing Cross Hospital. Dressed in Blue outside Red inside, caped uniform and bonnet.
So much more enticing, Than 50yo 'Nurse Nitty Nora' in Debben.. And very generous, in a Cuddle Up.
Sharing their cape when chilly. Something the NHS could include in Tri-age.
Soundbite. "You can learn more in a Bar after Midnight. Than any College in the Daylight"
