my sister had been on her own for about 14 yrs after her divorce and seemed quite content to continue , however last year she was on our Hometown Facebook group and answered a thread about a topic being discussed .the person she replied to said he thought he had known her when they were teenagers so they started talking , he is in Lancashire we are in Scotland ,then it progressed to phone calls every night .neither had seen the other apart from profile photo .they arranged to meet in May of this year in Lancashire and it went so well he came back to Scotland with her for a week and they have been yo yoing back and forth since then . they are like a pair of teenagers very Happy together and are going on Holiday next week to Spain with his daughters , they are both 75 yrs old ..

Schöne Dinge passieren in Ihrem Leben, wenn Sie sich distanzieren und negative Dinge und Menschen entfernen.

My advice is to only 'date' if looking for a romantic partner and 100% sure it's what you want.
Don't date if just looking for company....you can join a flower arranging (or other) class for that.

Many people enjoy being with each other, either exclusively, or casually. As long as the expectations of that relationship are clear, I don’t see why seniors should be excluded from dating. It is an individual decision.

Can't imagine why anyone regardless of age would want to date, unless they're looking to have a romantic or sexual relationship, which may or may not lead to something permanent.

Otherwise there are plenty of places where people of any age, can meet and enjoy each others company in a friendly and relaxed environment.

I just couldn't be bothered with all that malarkey to be honest. Why on earth would I want a woman around the place!

A little bit of what you fancy does you good so the saying goes.
If you are looking for the companionship of a relationship go for it.
Just don’t build your expectations up too high!

Just get a dog, because at least they're always glad to see you. :D
