Some Seniors are in the motion of dating as I type this. Others feel done with it,
and some for good reason. Others are not done with it, and for good reason.

ALL about the dating scene, including both positive, and not positive things.

How you personally see things relating to this topic.

Well I am married so I have my beloved hubby to come home to, but others are not as fortunate. If they have no family back up, then why not date for company etc., After all we are all capable of loving and giving love. Best of luck to anyone searching for love.

If one is so inclined, and finds the right partner, I say go for it, but for many, such as I, those days are in the rear mirror. The positives, if one is so inclined, is someone to enjoy going / doing things with, as well, someone you can share your life, making life much more meaningful/ enjoyable.

I’m never sure what age people mean when they use the word “senior” - are all members on 50+ website classed as “Senior”? Or are you talking about people old enough to draw their old age state pension or older than that?

Whatever age you mean, I say there is no universal “truth” about “dating” - everyone is different, so each to their own.
Providing nobody is doing any harm to anyone, do what makes you happy and don’t worry about what other people are doing or thinking.

I’ve been alone so long that I’ve become accustomed to it. Given my introversion, it seems like my last girlfriend’s prophecy that I would end up a recluse was true.

I still date.
I have more fun now than I had in my youth on the dating scene. Self confidence and self reliance means much less angst now.
I'm not looking for a life partner just having a good time

I'm perfectly happy without a partner cluttering my life up. I just don't see anything to be gained by having one and as such I don't even see dating fulfilling any needs I have. I prefer my freedom to do what I want, when I want and how I want to having a superfluous to requirements partner.

Good luck to those who do want to date, of course.

My best friend lives next door, We have been together now 11 years, I love it. After the attack on her we got very close as I became the care person.

Each to their own I say......

Just make sure you don't get taken on by people whose romantic intentions revolve more around your bank balance than your personality

A perfect martini should be made by filling a glass with gin, then waving it in the general direction of Italy.

Never argue with an idiot......they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Dating and not dating, even the types of dates people chose to go on,
things they really like, or don't like to do on a date...
