Online or in Person, what's the difference.

Lots of pretenders out there, just be careful and go with you Gut Instinct. if it does not feel right, it probably is not. If you cant check things out independently, watch out.

And never never loan any Money, that's what Banks are fore.

Come to think of it, I Borrowed 100 Bucks of my Wife before we got married. Been together now for over 40 years hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Cheers

Dating at 80+ after nearly 53 years of continuous marriage? Perish the thought. (For me anyway).

I never found a nice person on a dating site but did find a lovable man on Buzz. We were together for 2 years and enjoyed ourselves travelling around.

Yes, that's a big "no" from me, too. What would be the point in dating? I have my freedom and I'm not going to give that up for a woman now. I bet lots of women think the same way.

Dating, or lack thereof, is not a "freedom" issue here. I just know I could not achieve the same level of commitment that I shared with my late wife. And that would, IMHO, be grossly unfair to another woman.

I want a pen pal, I used to have one as a teen and get it going for 4 years

It can be lots of fun. It works better if you’re happy being single too. You need a strong instinct and a stout heart.

I had a penpal when I was a teenager and when I found myself single again in my forties I found a website where people could find a penpal. Through this site I made contact with a few people, two of whom I am still penpals with. The difference is these days that we are also friends on facebook so we see more of each other's lives.
