Just had a scam e mail asking would we please ‘refresh ‘ our e mail information for their records for safety purposes . This was supposedly from BT but they addressed us by the wrong name. Clearly a scam.

I've had a few suspicious text messages along these lines, which is very unusual. I just ignored them, which I hope was the right thing to do.

I'm deluged with BT McAfee renew subscription scams at the moment, whatever the scam i forward it to the relevant companies phishing/scam department for investigation, or you can forward emails you think are scams to the UK Governments National Cyber Security Centre, This email address is being protected from spambots. I forwarded emails to the relevant spam website and forward texts to 7726 (spells out SPAM).

Explains my almost complete lack of either coming in nowadays.

I rarely see any Spam mail, any spam mail goes into my Junk folder automatically.
It’s only when I log in to clear it that I see how many there were.

Ditto. It Beggars belief.
That GCHQ. relies on BT. to provide sophisticated National Security. Yet BT. are unable, or more likely. Disinclined to STOP this Invasion of Hacking and Scamming.
