I had a look at ` Halls ` tide movement on the internet Genny and I am going to have a Lobster lunch
at the bay side. I could have had a take away - but the Lobster caught my eye.

My eldest daughter lives in Wiltshire a small village with one pub and one shop and some posh houses there in her lane is two houses in the far end lady posh lives she owns the lane and my daughter owns the edges, our daughter went on holiday for ten days and my wife and I stayed with 3 dogs Tina, Brouse, and Mow.
The first night we could hear wild animals screaming this went on until about 3 in the morning, I asked lady posh what it was and she said it will be badgers or foxes.
No street lighting, no paths, only the odd tractor.

I live in a quiet village...on the edge of town.
within a few minutes, I can be in flat, pretty countryside..
takes about 40 mins drive to be at the coast..
In town, we have a sports centre,
and a lovely Promenade park, with the River Blackwater flowing thro..
Lived in the same house for over 50 years....and feel content...
Theres no place like home !

Genny - -I've been to your area twice in my lifetime. Back in 1946 my folks and I spent a couple of weeks driving through Nova Scotia and Cape Breton Island. Beautiful countryside. I believe that at least some of the portions of the Cabot Trail were unpaved at that time?

My wife and I made the same trip in the early 80's and it was another enjoyable outing. The Trail was paved long before the second trip. For strangers to the area, the tides in the Bay of Fundy are awesome. At high tide, boats are anchored in the usual manner and when the tide is low, they are sitting on the mud flats. And as the tide comes in the Tidal Bore is quite a sight.

Nice place to live. We live in coastal Massachusetts so the drive up through Maine and New Brunswick wasn't too great.

Love my area here FREE to do the things I enjoy and legal to do here, great neighbors, can fish daily, shoot daily, ride horses daily if I wish to, only change would be more rural than I already am.

As said before free to do the things I enjoy legally, owned the land on all sides here so actually got to choose my neighbors, I can fish, hunt and shoot just outside my doors. Ride my horse and plenty of room for my animals to graze.
