I wear brownish black or brown mascara it’s more forgiving than black that can age a mature complexion .
Also wear the faintest hint of a smudgy soft purple shadow it goes well with green eyes ;)

As expected opinion is divided on the subject of makeup on older women, but to redirect the angle slightly, whatever you reasons for wearing or not wearing it, what do your friends do? Do you find yourself in a group of similarly dressed and made up or moisturised women? I only ask out of curiosity as looking at my 3 closest friends we all wear a similar amount of makeup yet dress very differently and have quite different lifestyles well as an age range from mid 30s to late 60s. Therefore are we subconsciously drawn to people who look like us (kind of) or people who think like us (an unspoken like of makeup)? I can't ever remember having a conversation about makeup or clothes with my friends but am intrigued...... we all have our reasons for our choices but are they as independent as we think.....?
Your thoughts?

Since we are all already gorgeous, we don't need it. Grin.
