I have no qualms with beards or long hair, in fact, I wore both til my head started turning into a shiny dome, then I shaved everything(head and face), I prefer neatness, with/ without long hair / beard, neatness can be achieved either way.

Not a fan of hairy faces either …. Prefer ‘smooth as a baby’s bottom’ as they say :D. And I don’t like the constant ‘5 o’clock shadow’ that some young men seem to think is cool ….designer stubble lol , a nice polite term …

And don’t get me started on ponytails on men …. :S.

My only nephew has grown a beard and his hair long, pony tail this year. It
suits him, what he does for business aspects when in public or at meetings
in a nice clean shaped look with both his long hair and beard. He has a look
that works for him and he is comfortable with it. As for my other sibbling she
seems ready to disown him out of embarressement, which to me is rude and
uncessary, just my opinion.

He also wears the short look well too. I love him no matter what length his hair
or beard, just keep in properly shaped is the only input I give him, and only
when I am asked. That only means when long, trim it shaped nice, does not
mean short, just means manicured up a bit.
