Some hand washing needs doing, but I'll wait until after I've made my soup, then I can do the pans from that at the same time .

Managed to do all the hand washing this evening, and have everything dried and put away. Have switched the dishwasher on overnight, so will just have to empty it in the morning, after I get up .

I have had a dishwasher since my children were young. I wouldn’t be without a dishwasher. I think it protects my china from getting chipped on the draining board.
I also feel it offers protection from germs.
When we moved here there was only room for a small dishwasher but as we are only two people it is big enough for us. I run it at night.
