Channel 5 is at 10.00 pm tonight
showing how the operation is done.
Tomorrow night at 10.00pm on Ch.5
is another operation
I personally, find these operations are an insight, I have seen them on Australian TV,
but these are from an NHS Hospital.

I had my left knee replaced in February, the new one is working fine.
Not quite as flexible as the right knee, yet. but if it did not get better than it is right now, it is okay.
Not sure I would want to know how they do it,

my SO is having her left knee done in January. Total replacement. Robotic surgery. I don't think I want to see how it is done. I'm too squeamish for that.

It was more interesting than I thought it was to be. The man was fully awake during the operation.
all thought he felt nothing. He was listening to music.....

My hubby also had his knee surgery done with a spinal anaesthetic and felt nothing at all.

Had my left knee done in 2010 in the summer. Other than swelling, it did fine. Just had it checked about a month ago and it show very little if any wear and that's with me being very active. So I'm happy with that, wish it looked more like the other one as it is noticeably different looking.
