I’m interested in these developments from the biology aspect of it, though as I do not eat meat, I have no interest in eating the end product.

From what I have read about cultured meat, there is a lot of challenges to overcome in developing stable cell lines if production is to be scaled up to the level where it becomes a widely available substitute for meat from farmed animals.

It opens up a whole new set of different types of employment too.
