Whenever I fancy a hot fruity bun, I can take one out and pop it in the toaster.

It works for all fruit breads - teacakes, rich fruit buns and hot cross buns. smile.png

They don’t feel anything once they’re in the freezer.
The currants don’t mind being in the toaster but the sultanas squeal a bit. tongue.png

This year M&S are selling chocolate and salted caramel hot cross buns.....yum!

They have warned people not to put them in the toaster, as the melted caramel could potentially cause a fire..
Their advice is to heat them gently under the grill.

Anyone going to try these buns?

Nope ... I say ban these usurpers and bring back the traditional bun ... nothing wrong with it ... if people want to play around with new flavours ... call them something else!!!!!! tongue.png

I am currently enjoying M&S Cheesey Hot Cross buns ... absolutely delicious and they seem to have very little salt in them which is unusual for savory things.
