I hope your blood sugar is back on track now, Sandgrounder.
I’m sorry to hear you had that awful experience while you were on a trip away from home - but it was good to hear the staff at Harewood helped you and made sure you got what you needed.

Hope you stay on an even keel now and enjoy the rest of your trip. Take care.

Feeling a lot better now I've been back home a couple of days Ambriel. Just had a text from the health centre with regard my annual foot checkup, so have to get another blood test then arrange my appointment after that. So will be able to discuss everything with the nurse when I go for my appointment .

Finally had my annual foot checkup yesterday afternoon with the nurse. Blood pressure tested, heart beat checked, weighed and hight checked. then my foot sensitivity checked and then an ultrasound scan taken on my feet to check the circulation. Have been given the all clear for another year. I recently had a urine sample taken and asked about that, and the nurse confirmed that was all clear as well. Now just have to check my blood sugars again after the New Year, once I've been on my reduced dosage tablets for a few months .

I don't seem to be experiencing any problems at the moment since I've been on the reduced medication, and my weight is still coming down, all be it slowly at the moment .
