So pleased for you Aida...

We had flu and covid jabs at the same time
both fine afterwards...
As Pats said, it depends on the nurse sometimes !

I felt the initial sharp scratch but nothing after that. Hours later I have no soreness at the site of the injection, no heavy arm, I can’t even see where the needle went in. Now I am wondering if it’s going to work.

I was like that for all 3 shots.wink.png
But did get quite a strong reaction from the flu shot though.

Your reaction to the vaccine has no bearing on its effectiveness .

Curious as to why a vaccine that is safe and effective was mandated to stop the spread of a virus that requires a test to find out if you have it.

I will hit you in the arm to make it sore if you want.

What??

there are tests to find out if you have various vaccine preventable diseases - influenza, whooping cough by PCR, same as Covid, others by blood tests or faecal test or skin swab

People can spread most of these diseases before they show symptoms - ie often before they would get tested

what has that to do with side effects??

I had my Covid booster earlier today - and I am surprised to have felt no soreness in my arm yet either.

All my previous vaccinations have been from Pfizer/BioNTech - my upper arm has usually felt sore, hot and “heavy” for a couple of days and some queasiness in my tummy shortly after each vaccine.
My booster today was another Pfizer - the updated Omicron XBB 1.5 version - and I have felt no after effects at all so far.
I was surprised to find that I didn’t even feel the usual sting of the needle going in my arm - I was still sitting there waiting for the injection when the vaccinator told me it was all done! :cheer:

I have no qualms about it working to reduce my risks, though smile.png
