When an alected MP is not allowed to talk about the adverse reactions of covid it shows who is in charge and it ain't the government. Andrew Bridgen has been silenced for talking about excess deaths and his speech called "misinformation" even though the figures are well established. Hardly anyone would even know what is going on because MSM has not reported the incident. This is in a so called democracy - perhaps calling the UK a democracy is "misinformation".

Ok whatever. Just seeing you chuck in the conspiracy theorist garbage again to try and discredited facts is laughable and sad a true observation of a lost course, when all the facts are against your argument start to try and discredit the poster,

I don't think it is me trying to discredit facts.

But, like I said before, I have no qualms in calling conspiracy nonsense what it is.

As you said,ok, whatever.

I say the same.

Whatever - little group of truth adherents or whatever you want to call yourselves, carry on.

I'm sure you are the only ones who know what is really going on. :S

I'm out unless anyone else has anything new to say.

No we didn't know what was going on, we had an idea but had no proof, Now the proof is there so why not believe it when it comes from the horses mouth? Matt Hancock himself and all the experts we were told rely on it is their mouths it is coming from.
The facts are there in black and white if people want to ignore them and put their heads in the sand and think ignorance is bliss or they government never lie or the experts can't have made mistakes even though they admitted they did as that is how science works it keep going until the answer is there without doubt then let them get on with it.
I have kept goldfish before they are entertaining.

I’ll never forget driving by Home Depot, Lowe’s and Walmart during Covid, straight up I’d never seen their lots so full. Free time and free money courtesy of the federal government was the perfect opportunity to get caught up on your new fence, kitchen counters and etc etc. Just mask up and “come on in a mingle with thousands of strangers!” Meanwhile thousands of small business owners went busto because the Gestapo was watching their every move. (No powerful attorneys like the others mentioned) You could report them yourself too, how neighborly. I can only guess whether there was something sinister going on or just plain incompetence from our leadership here but, I know it was one of the two.

Absolutely spot on.
I recall in lockdown the sun was shining bright we had a lovely heatwave all over the UK and of course shops were open such as DIY shops as the rules allowed them to be,
I was doing a lovely garden project in the sun it was great getting some lovely vitamin D built up and having BBQ many times with my family and my neighbours joining in hot tub was out swimming pool was in use it was marvellous for us, I was one of the lucky ones I had my family around me bright sunshine lovely hot days any requirements we needed we could get.
Many others who took the fear hype to excess levels such as my sister suffered as they didn't go anywhere or see any family for an age but that was the fault of those spreading the fear hype.

If I recall this was the time that the government was relying mostly on the Herd Immunity strategy which in fact required everyone to catch the virus, those that survived would then have immunity and there would be no need for actions that might damage the economy. After all, the economy was more important than the people, especially after the hit taken due to Brexit. They had a rethink when the death toll started getting out of control and the whole system looked like going down in flames.

Herd immunity does require everyone to catch it, but they chose to lock us down and keep us apart so no one would catch it!
The vaccine was supposed to give us herd immunity but that didn't work either for herd immunity, we are lucky that when the virus mutated it mutated in to a lot less damaging than the original Alpha strain which was so new to the body it did cause untold damage we got Omicron which is nothing to worry about.
It was to late for the lockdown to have any effect the virus was already far and wide.
The constant disinfecting of everywhere helped as the country has never been cleaned like that before.
As time went on millions caught covid and survived and it made our immune systems a lot stronger which is the main reason covid doesn't do the damage it did when it first came about we had small doses of the virus and our immune system developed the necessary to battle it if we got it again.
An argument which is still ongoing on did the vaccine give us that protection or did natural immune systems kick in and give us the protection? The only thing I can see is people who have never been jabbed seem to have developed the same immune system workings as those jabbed! I am not a scientist so I will wait for the answer on that one.

I do believe they thought closing the country down and putting us in lockdown at first was the correct decision as why destroy the economy if they didn't need to? but for spread it was to late as we know.
What came after that on all the fines if you go out and all the mass controlling jab or job etc was just a that a controlling episode which didn't work as people are not stupid.

The death tolls are an absolute disgrace of how they were collated according to research over 90% of the death toll was not covid which caused the deaths.

As for Brexit that is going to be blamed for all sorts for a long time it is the easy out route for anything, just look at the shortage of cucumbers and tomatoes in the UK they quickly blame it on Brexit when the real reason is in the UK the farmers who grow these things cannot afford to switch on the heating in the large greenhouses where they are grown and seeing as the UK is cold most of the time they need heating but the costs of energy is so high they would have to get £20 for a bag of tomatoes from the retailer to make any money and then we would be paying £30 for toamtoes and that won't happen so the farmers didn't bother growing them.

The EU is and has done since the day we voted to leave made life for the UK as hard as possible they are like big babies with a vindictive streak, They are the ones who are making it far more difficult than it should be to import stuff.
But we ride the storm and we will get through it because the EU have forgotten they are playing with the UK the land of the stubborn the land of the people who will never back down no matter what ever and the EU is on very shaky legs with other countries bordering walking away and we will be here still when the EU folds through their own fault and a better more fair none political EU can rise for trade only which is what all the present members of the EU want and what we would accept if it was just trade and no politics.
Yes leaving the EU was going to bring some problems everyone knew this but they will ride out and we will be better for it. It will happen even quicker if the EU stop acting like schoolground children.

Which is exactly why there are hundreds of thousands of new mental health patients (US) and nowhere near the amount of mental health professionals to help them. (US) Homelessness and addiction is off the charts now too, duh. Like him or not Ronald Reagan said the scariest words ever are “I’m from the government and I’m here to help.” Yup. Nope.

Move on people!
You either took the vaccine or you didn't.
You either believe the government and scientists or you don't.
You really don't have to justify your stance on the subject as very few people will be swayed to your viewpoint now.
It's like getting a divorce and constantly harping on about your ex!
