Canada has been very slow in the ‘roll-out’, in fact some would call it a painful crawl...

But vaccines seem to be arriving daily, and lots of clinics, pharmacies, etc.are offering a vaccine . Making an appt online has been a nightmare for some ppl, easy for others...so that has not been smooth either, and very frustrating .

But finally it was my turn yesterday, and although it was a two hour round trip, I was thrilled to get it and the centre where I had to go was incredibly well organized, and very friendly and helpful people. One down, one to go ... I just wish it wasn’t 4 mths away. They need to do a MUCH better job on the distribution here, and more quickly ...

The variants are wreaking havoc with our covid numbers over here, causing many Provinces to have total and/or partial lockdowns....again. :S

I am having my second on Saturday the 10th. No problem after the first one except a sore arm for a day. We’ll see what (if anything) happens after the second.

I had my second Moderna vaccination today. The needle this time didn't hurt as much as last time, so my arm isn't so sore.

Today, the side effects started to kick in. It was worse that the first time (sluggishness, light headed). This time around, it was a sour stomach, and sore muscles below the base of my head, and in my lower back.
