You just have to experiment. The Lounge can sometimes be interesting. .

The lounge is the busiest, I have found. The Balcony is often empty, and the BBB chat room often has messages you can read, but folks have left.....
The nice part of the lounge, you can enter, say hello, engage in the banter, or simply be entertained by the bits and pieces thrown out at friendly buzzers. Just try it! I've never been scolded if I couldn't keep up with the flow. Initiate a topic and watch what happens.

Better to be be surprised at what's around the next corner than to plan on what I might find there.

Hello Pearl :) and welcome to Buzz !

There are some differences in the chat rooms ... Music Room, where members can play whatever music they like, while others enjoy and also chat.... the Lounge tends to be the busiest, although not all of the time. You’ll find a great deal of difference in numbers of chatters, depending on the time of day ...we draw members from all over, so the time zones certainly makes a difference in the numbers of chatters in the rooms. The Lounge can get quite busy at times, and some new members, new to chat, can find it too fast and get discouraged. The Balcony is another chat room, and tends to be quieter, with a smaller group of chatters in there ... and easier to have a slower pace of conversation ...

I hope this helps ... hope you try chat again and have fun !

I have not seen any difference in any of the chat rooms . Most people there just say hello and never talk about anything because they move so fast. Most of the time I never go there

LOL well more than in the forums in some instances Brenda as its taken two months to answer this. The best of buzz is choice. Most people including chat moderators NEVER come and look at forums. The reason being they don't like them. What goes on in chat passes on and any discussions re forums arn't read years later. Each to their own. The same applies to the social site, one of the busiest parts, but you only see it if you want to join in and meet others.

Chatters who have nowhere else to ask questions or have issues with chatrooms come on this section on the forums in hope that they will get answers.

Thankfully some posters who are also chatters do look at this section. This section was made mainly for chatters or would-be-chatters to discuss chatroom issues or to ask questions regarding chatrooms.
