Not much, I still work, I'm always on the go. The "you look good for your age or still look good" is well intentioned, but feels like someone is shaking your right hand and while slapping you with their left! LOL I guess I'm giving ground reluctantly. I don't mind getting older, it is a fact, but I don't feel it. At my daily/weekly pace, I don't fit in the bracket yet either. Some people aren't meant to be old, like Elvis or Janis Joplin, I never saw myself living past 30, so I have to re-figure my plan!

Geeze what happened? One day was a young blithering idiot out to change the world, then woke up and not only the world but I changed. Whose that old stranger looking back in the mirror? Kinda wish he'd get out of the way. *smiles*

I love being freed from the clock. Time doesn't have a lot of meaning anymore. It's get up and do what ever, when ever.

I love the stress is gone. I no longer have to meet deadlines, no longer have to worry about people's lives in my hands, no longer worry about repercussions for screw ups.

And now can get away with things I couldn't as a youth. Say what you really mean and watch the others chalk it up old age. *chuckles*

Maylily7651, I love knowing that I can stand for what I want and not what the system wants. I stand for doing what is right and respecting others for theirs as well. Noticing young people doing things for me cause I am older. My grandsons really listen now.

Wake up when I want to, do what I want to till I go to sleep when I want to, that to me is success

I rarely think about it. I am just relieved I have good health and all my marbles and enough time and money to do as I please.

We can all do more than we have done and not be a whit the worse.
It was never loving that emptied the heart, nor giving that emptied the purse.

I didn't care much for being a senior, but being a sophomore was the happiest 3 years of my life (;;)
