Do you think that having a pet can help with loneliness?

You can upload pet photos and names if you like as well.

Mila and I will look at this topic for our 'Banish Loneliness Campaign' and will read some posts out and show photos posted on the 'Good Morning Buzzers' live broadcast which is on the homepage of Buzz50 every morning at 7:30am UK time.

Our house would be too quiet without our dog, Buddy.
We rescued him from a toddler, who was making Buddy's life a misery. He is happy with us now. :)
Buddy is a cross between a Yorkie and a Chihauhau. (so hes a Chalkie lol)

Until one has loved an animal,
part of their soul remains unawakened.

My dog Jet has been my rock through some sad and lonely times, I honestly don't know how I'd have coped without him. I talk to him all the time, he guards the house, he sleeps on top of my bed, which makes me feel safe. We snuggle up and watch tv together. I don't get out much at the moment, so my dog is more of a companion than just a pet.

I've heard the same thing from many other dog owners, so I believe animals really can help a person not be lonely.
