I have a small greenhouse 6 feet by 4 feet and have now installed a electric supply that has been checked out by a professional.
What i am thinking of doing is plugging in a tub heater, one is it takes up little room, two cheep to run.
It's the size, dose the size matter (could not resist that), how about a 1Ft Hyco Tubular Heater 45W

2Ft Hyco Tubular Heater 80W

3Ft Hyco Tubular Heater 135W

4Ft Hyco Tubular Heater 180W

Hi Caretaker, that all sounds adequate,
Just a thought for down the line....have you looked at the solar powered panel heaters for greenhouses,
My neighbour can’t seem to get enough of solar panels....for his shed, greenhouse, house. So they must be worthwhile, I keep meaning to thoroughly check it out myself.

Years ago we changed glass for plastic sheeting, much warmer......we have used a parafin heater in the greenhouse....but the tomatoe leaves do not like it...they turn a purple colour, so I would not advise.....If the days are warm enough, and we are just worried in case of night frosts, I use an upturned terracotta plant pot over a lighted candle.......this given enough warmth to keep frost away....
Best of luck with your electrical appliances in the greenhouse.
