Your garden, does it have trees, vegetables, flowers? Or is it a lawn garden, very easy and manageable,
Our garden is not huge, thank goodness, honestly could not cope with a huge garden, we don’t have any trees,we have a small vegetable patch, and flowers, and a patio area,

Our back garden is about 70 ft long....
we have a huge patio area....
mainly lawn....with a few rose bushes...
as you get older, we dont want alot of maintenance..
not keen gardeners, but always looks neat and tidy.

We live in a private road, not adopted by the local council, and as well as the rear garden we have a garden across the lane at the front of the house. It is large, mostly lawn, with shrubs and bushes around the edge and a magnolia tree in the centre. The problem is walkers with dogs mistake it for a posh grass verge and let their dogs go on it. We don't want to put up a notice saying keep off because it might antagonize the local youths - there is a high school nearby.

>> Looks like a jungle. Suspect a tribe of pygmies' have settled in.
Here hoping my gardener's, who has been AWOL., don't get the Hebbie Jebbies and do another bunk!
Unattended Upside. A beautiful 80yo yellow Dutch Laburnum with hanging yellow blossom strands. Has now followed white and pink Apple blossom. "A colourful Spring having Sprung". Suits the Sedentary.

We have lots of birds : blackbirds, robins, starlings, blue tits, a tame crow we call Lucas, pigeons and just this week I've seen a thrush. I like the birds. They make my 'shut in' life a lot mote interesting.

We have a front garden, which is lawn and floweing, or evergreen shrubbery around it. We also have a garden at the back of our house, now this has changed use down the years as it has a lawn with 2 apple trees, always been, but used to have big tubs growing runner beans and new potatoes, also greenhouse growing tomatoes, cucumbers lettuce. This year we cannot use greenhouse as we had gales last Winter which blew out 3 panels. We can no longer grow runner beans and new potatoes as we are passed this now. All around are flowering shrubs, and evergreens, beautiful Azaleas which have bloomed and gone back, climbing roses, clematis (big and blue), a yellow standard rose. A huge yellow Choise (yellow all year round). Huge Asian lillies in a big tub, with lupins in tubs in front of that. White Arum Lillies in bloom now, and also yellow flag Irises in bloom. Many other flowering shrubs, also a patio up by the house with tubs and pots full of flowers.
No birds now..........that horrid cat 2 doors away, has driven them all away.

My front lawn looks as if it is covered in pale yellow wedding confetti - it is all the fading petals from tall laburnum tree, which the recent breezes have blown all across the lawn and driveway - it looks very pretty.

Meanwhile, in the back garden, my mini greenhouse and patio is full of pots of veg - I’m hoping the slugs won’t get them before they are ready to eat!

A perfect martini should be made by filling a glass with gin, then waving it in the general direction of Italy.

Never argue with an idiot......they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.
