Have had a few over the years, most recent was David Tennant when he was the Doctor and Patrick Stewart as the Captain of the Enterprise-D.

He wasn't really a hero, but I did work with David Hasselhof to obtain a Trans Am for his shoot for Knight Rider.
Liked Patrick McNee of the Avenger series.

When I was very young I suppose the tv repairman from Rediffusion would have been a hero to us kids for getting the cartoons back on

Back in the early 1960's in Florida, I saw Dan Blocker, who played Hoss Cartwright in Bonanza, at the grand opening of a Chevrolet dealership. Chevrolet was one of the sponsors of the show.

Then around 1955 or 1956, I saw in Rochester, NY, at the grand opening of a super market, my family saw in person, Duncan Renaldo and Leo Carrillo (Cisco and Pancho) of the TV series The Cisco Kid. They were not my heroes, but I enjoyed seeing them, nonetheless. Many years later, I got a much bigger thrill seeing John Lennon and Yoko Ono walking down a street in Manhattan.
