Have you gone into your profile and checked your Personal settings to see if they are correctly set in relation to the above?


I haven't changed any of my personal settings so I don't think that's the problem. I've had this problem before and I had not changed any of my personal settings then.



It may be a good idea to go in and check your settings in case something has gone awry.
Also, if you haven’t already done so, try cleaning your cookies and cache.

Over the last couple of days, including just now, the pages have been freezing / unresponsive. I have tried different browsers, cleared the cache, usual stuff. Unfortunately the freezing still occurs now and again. It appears to be on Buzz only as I haven't, as yet, encountered this elsewhere.

Also, I have received the 'bad gateway' page - host error - a couple of times recently
instead of the page I want. Using the back button cleared it. I have then been able to proceed as normal.

Just to add, I'm using an Android device with either its own browser or Google Chrome.

I've not logged in for 2 weeks because it was such a struggle to reply to messages - I don't post on the forum often so my problem was with private messaging.

I had noticed the freezing tended to happen if my cursor strayed over the banner advert when it was at the bottom of the screen.

So, after 2 weeks I went to reply to messages. Initially the banner (Mayflower Theatre) was at the top of the screen, no problems, just went to reply to another and the banner moved to the bottom and the page is now frozen.

I have tried running malwarebytes and AVG and nothing has been found, it only happens on Buzz50 so I can't see the problem has anything to do with cache, it seems, to me, to be related to the banner advert and where it's sitting on the screen.

I'm the same......can only occasionally post these days as all I get is the "page unresponsive"message.

Been like it for two weeks now. I understand the technical people are investigating but presumably they have been unsuccessful in correcting the fault.

All working perfectly well for me both on safari and chrome.
Did you try to refresh your browser?

In Windows this is Ctrl + Shift + R, for Apple it's CMD + Shift + R

I've checked everything and dealt with cookies and cache but still the same problem.

hmm...

I'm having trouble this evening, for the first time. Page took ages to try to load and then this appeared...hope it might help the techies (Edge browser). The problem resolved itself after a couple of minutes. No problems anywhere else. So nobody's browser is at fault!
