I guess you have probably noticed (well the women) since the covid carry-on that there have been heaps of clothing sales online. The trouble is I now receive 2 or 3 emails daily from a well known shop with all kinds of super dooper offers but they have no sizes left.........what's the point...???
On another note does anybody else have trouble finding half sizes in shoes ? I was once told there was no call for half sizes in the UK - yeh right, like we don't have enough people on this small island and I must be the only person that needs a half size.....what a daftie she is (...and yes I told her just that...giggles)..

every time i brose on line at clothes. they either 'out of ' 'limited sizes'. i think you have to move pretty quick and order without hesitation to get the size and styles you want. not many shoe shops stock half sizes here either. smile.png

When I look at clothes on line the size I wear is invariably sold out.
I also have difficulty finding shoes in my size, which is a half size. I used to buy from Clark's but lately have had no luck with half sizes.

Since all this Coronavirus started, I will be honest with you, I haven’t bothered looking at clothes and shoes.

I was surprised to find and buy half sizes in Clarks just this week.
It makes such a difference.

I've found this to be the case, too. I've been trying to find some new gym trousers but like you when I click on the right size that's the one out of stock. Other times I find that despite the product being described as "in all sizes" it is often only Extra Small or XXXXL available for sale. No other sizes even listed!

Sadly, like many shops everywhere there are very very few high shops left, lots of high street shops have closed down, people have no choice but to shop online.

The way we all live is changing so fast, high streets were in trouble before Covid, in my own town high rates and rents, unhelpful parking regulations and an often far from enthusiastic service spelled the death knell anyway, then Covid came along. I don't like shopping online personally, I like to see and feel what I'm going to buy and wear, never mind the problem with sizing.

....and now the Post Office here in the U.K. is offering a click and collect parcel collection service, picking up packages from households at a veery reasonable cost, cashing in on Internet shopping.
