I buy quite a few used books from e-bay for my Mrs . They're always in good condition and most of the time they're postage free

abe books is a good site for used books. it is a clearing house for used book dealers.

Public libraries often have an over abundance of donated books. The search through all those books is worth while,
if you have the time and patience. The cost is minimal, less than $1.00 a book.
