Do you collect & if so what do you collect?

During the late ‘80s & early 90’s I started collecting early 20th century ceramics and I have a few pieces of Charlotte Rhead. She specialised in a technique called tube lining. I also have a couple of pieces of Clarice Cliffe (not bizarre); some Shelley & a couple of mid century Myott (still not sure about the Myott) and Moorcroft. I haven’t bought in many years - no children/more funds when I started buying all those years ago.

Cameo brooches. My collection began with one given to me by my grandmother and then I began collecting them.

I am not really a collector as such, if I see something that I like, for example,an ornament or something else, I will buy it,but will not start collecting them.

I do not consider myself a collector, at least not collecting anything for its monetary value or displaying. I do have all or most all of the books of several authors such as Loren C. Eiseley, Stephen J. Gould, and a batch of maybe 15-25 works of utopian, dystopian worlds, and a couple of hundred other books.

I don't really collect stuff these days but as a teen I collected postage stamps, match boxes/match books ( I have complete sets of different themes). Corgi trucks for a while as an adult.
