Should Mods Post on the forums.?........or just be in the background to help others, and organise competitions etc etc.

Smiles and Pats have always posted on the forum. To deny them that would be cruel. It would also take us into a 'Them and Us ' situation. Leave it as it is.

Ahhh this old chestnut.... raises its head every few months.

I would prefer them to carry on and post, more the merrier.

Of course they should post, they are members too and should be able to post in topics like everyone else. If they are good moderators they will be able to separate their moderating duties from their enjoyment of these forums - if they can't they shouldn't be moderating.

I dont suppose they need to join in but I think it's nice that they do join in with us, maybe it makes their job a bit more pleasant for for them. They will, of course, have to put up with the touchy ones who enjoy picking on the mods....and it's all their fault etc.

Sometimes we make mistakes and sometimes Mods make mistakes......live with it....

It is vital that the people who moderate us are people like us and not 'hidden'.
