Was wondering if any forum members could recommend a decent desktop printer that is compatible with a Linux operating system. Thanks all.

I use an Epson XP-8500 (Wireless)
Works fine Great for printing photo's
Ink is a little dear but aftermarket is O/K
I only use it for Photo's
All other printing I download to USB and go to the Library

Finding Linux Compatible Printers
August 22, 2020 by Hayden James, in Blog Linux

Here’s all the info and links needed to find printers or all-in-one printers that currently support Linux. If you don’t want to spend hours comparing printers, have a look at my recommended Linux compatible printers.

Hope this helps smile.png

Like all computor companies they only make computors And printers for Apple or Microsoft
If you want linux you program yourself.
All printers don't come with Boot up disk for Linux
As I mentioned earlier I use an Epson XP8500 Because it virtually installed itself and the photo's are unreal
But the HP office jet pro 8025 comes straight out of the box Linux compatable.
You could Duel system Ubantu and windows.
Then you can run any printer you want
That way you get to PAY Windows and keep Microsoft happy.
