I was due to have one - (dont we live in exciting times) but I could`nt drink all the powder into fluid - drink.
Cant remember what happened - after that.
I am due - for a throat examination next Wednesday - what will they find
I had the tube put down my throat for a gall stone 5 years ago + something to break up the large stone they found.
That was easy - a PINK spray into the mouth - then the nurse waking ME up - after half an hour---.

I have written all about it in my profile. I had a telephone call from a Doctor yesterday - he was ringing about
my blood sample. I refered him to my daughter - as I am waiting for my hearing aid - to be repaired.
Result - he found two issues with my right kidney - his replied " no action to be taken ".

Only ever had the one a few years ago, pre-pandemic. They could not anaesthetise me do to a low body oxygen level, so found it very uncomfortable while they did it. Happily was given the all clear at the time .

I've heard of light sedation being offered if asked for, not anaesthetic as such.
