I had flu jab a week and a half ago .
I knew when the needle went in it’s wasn’t right ouch pain .
Could it of gone into a muscle ?
Anyway arm ached for a couple of days no other ill effects.

It is supposed to go into a muscle.

IM injections: Intra Muscular.

Most vaccines should be given via the intramuscular route Rips.
Sometimes it’s the ‘givers’ technique that may not be so gentle.wink.png

Were you tense at the prospect or relaxed?

The vey reason that our arm may ache for a couple of days or so after a vaccination is because the muscle tissue has been ‘stabbed’wink.png

Happy to be muscle stabbed. One or two days of mild discomfort and they've been very effective on me.
Likewise I'd happily get the current offering of a Covid vaccine, even if annual like my flu shot.

I only had one bad re - action to a flu jab - years ago - instead of sitting down for 10 minutes.
I walked 5 miles - to see my sister - law - & back.
