I haven’t had chips (as we call them in the US) in quite a while given they are not exactly on the heart-approved diet. When I did eat them, my favorite was the plain chips with salt (maybe that’s what the Brits are calling ready salted?).

Yes - for our friends over the water plain chips with salt = ready salted in UK speak !!

I LOVE crisps but after flirting with high blood pressure moved to a version of low salt crisp that a local supermarket offers (the only one I have ever found in spain) and they are a very good substitute ...

If I really want to push the boat out then it HAS to be Salt & Vinegar ... always!

I remember a few years back (only perhaps 5) there was a revival of the 'blue twists' ... dont seem to see them nowadays though
