Depends on how much there is,if there's a fair bit I freeze it for another time or I'll have it for lunch the next day, some things my husband will take it next door to our elderly neighbour.

Left over food can be refrigerated and used the next day.
Today’s lunch will be bubble and squeak from the left overs from last nights evening meal.

Yes, depends on how much ... we usually only have ‘leftovers’ if we’ve purposely cooked enough for another meal or two...

I don’t ‘save’ every little morsel of food that may be left on a plate .... I’ve noticed my DIL often has little ‘packages’ of food wrapped in her frig, but then she’s a much more creative cook than I am :D and probably finds good use for those packages lol

Usually eat it, but sometimes it ends up in the trash or the compost bin.

I have very little unintentional leftovers. I have gotten pretty good at portioning properly. I cook dinner in the evenings and my wife takes leftovers to work for her lunch and I eat the remainder for my lunch the next day. When you eat the same meal twice in a row, it is incentive to make it tasty. Sometimes I hit a homerun, sometimes I strike out.
