THE HOLLIES - the air that i breathe (1974) (HQ)

I have always loved this song, with this group.

public comment
"One of the most beautiful songs I've heard in my lifetime
and that's quite a few years"

public comment
"you have to be a dead person not to appreciate this masterpiece of music, the harmonies alone are amazing, everything else is perfect, thank you for this wonderful piece of music.."

public comment
"A great song, a tremendous performance, a true classic."

public comment
"Eric Clapton said that the first note of Air that I Breathe has more soul than anything he had ever heard. Tony Hicks is an incredible guitarist."

public comment
"Timeless masterpiece"

public comment
"What an amazing song that captures such a magical moment. While he didn't write it, it's wonderful that Mr. Clarke and his wife, to whom you know he is singing this, have been married for nearly 50 years. God bless them and their family."

I do so agree with every comment.....................ahhhhhhh!

What Happened to The Hollies?

Good information. I have always thought they were before their time with their music and harmonies.

public comment
"To h*ll with critics. I've enjoyed the Hollies music for 50yrs. Allen Clarke's vocals on "The Air that I Breathe" & "He Ain't Heavy" are filled with feeling, emotion, and Talent. I also believe that Tony Hicks never got the respect he deserved for his great guitar work. The Hollies music will always be legendary for me."

Total agreement from me.

Home ~~ Imelda May

"What is love?", you ask ........
So I ask love, "What are you?"
Love replies ..............

I'm choosin' kindness over bein' right
I'm the fight in you when you don't know how
The life in you when it's gone right out
I'm life when I'm near, hope without fear

I'm nothin' fancy in a world drippin' in gold
But a beautiful jewel never bought, never sold
And when you open your heart and let me in alone
You'll know who I am, because I feel like home" smile.png
