And they're off, Trump now has a declared opponent for the GOP nomination for the 2024 Presidential race, Niki Haley has declared herself a candidate. Despite having little chance to be the nominee, it is thought she is aiming for the second chair, to be the VP candidate with whoever gets the top spot on the Republican ticket.

Trump is said to be working overtime on names to call her having wasted time coming up with names for Ron DeSanctimonious.

Donald Trump has served his purpose to the GOP, he gave Right-Wing extremism a platform, now, he is damaged goods, more a liability. I would think Ron DeSantis, should he decide to enter, would be the leading candidate for the Republican nomination. Though I will say, nothing is written in stone.

Stock up on Popcorn. From top to bottom, republicans are going to be waging war on each other. Some even emulate Trump while trying to put him behind them.

I can't validate the statement that Trump doesn't want to put people in cages, though he certainly screams a lot about locking people up, especially his opponents and Law Enforcement , well those investigating him at least. He has recently thought allowed saying it would be good to bring back firing squads and the electric chair and he even tacked on the guillotine and is said to be considering group executions, maybe to get through his list of enemies faster.

Hopefully Larry Hogan(R), outgoing Gov.. of Maryland or Tim Kaine (D) Senator from Virginia will throw their hat into the ring, Trump and Biden, we've had enough of knuckleheads since 2016. I will add, though he does not get a lot of credit, his tenure has been two fold better than Comrade Trumps.

Biden it seems is rated highly on most criteria except, age, this seems to be his Achilles heal with both the younger voters and Independents. Which is strange because Trump is not much younger, and is know to have a lot more health issues than Biden, not least being his mental state.

It would seem for Democrats a majority of the electorate like some or most of their policies but figure they need someone younger and more dynamic to be the front person.
