I don't know that that telling the truth would hurt her at all. Would give her some standing to not just be another toadie to the previous president.

After a dismal performance by her brothers it seems Ivanka is now even more desperate to avoid giving testimony in the Fraud trial involving her family. She wants the trial delayed because she would have to attend during the week which are school days and she has children.

That got shot down quick and to the point.

Her brothers are idiots. They are in charge of a small kingdom, and they have no clue what's going on? BS. They take the money and bury their heads in the sand? Not sure I would put them in charge of anything let alone, a multimillion real estate company. What Dunder heads. It's going to cost them for lying and being ignorant too.

Well P01135809 had a win of soughts in the 14th Amendment disqualification case brought in Colorado.

The Judge ruled that on January 6th 2021 P01135809 did engage in Insurrection and incited others to do the same a finding that would bar anyone else from holding public office in the US. However, in a further finding that has shocked many and has legal and Constitutional scholars scratching their heads the Judge also found that the Office of President of the United States is not an "Office" under the Constitution for the purposes of the 14th Amendment and despite swearing an oath to protect, preserve and uphold the Constitution that oath is not enforceable against the President if they act in contravention to their oath.

The ruling is going to be immediately appealed, but at this point a Insurrectionist who sought to forceably take power in the US will have to opportunity to try again, unless Congress acts and nobody is holding their breath for that to happen.

The Justice system in the USA is a farce, and at some point, if not properly addressed, there will at some time be a flash point that ignites the next civil war, Democracy is clearly failing here. The United States is a representative democracy, this means that our government is elected by the citizens, but big money (Corporate / affluent) has so influenced our government and policies, is this form of govt any longer sustainable ? We no longer worry about the welfare of the people but the best interests of the affluent / Corporations.

In an unsurprising move P01135809 has indicated he will not be testifying at his Fraud trial in NYC on Monday, despite his lawyer saying this only a few days ago:

“He will take that stand on Monday. He will open himself up to whatever they want because he’s not afraid. People who are afraid cower. Trump doesn’t cower.”

one of P001135809's most often bellowed excuses for him not being charged in the January 6th Insurrection trial is that as President he is above the law and can, essentially, do as he pleases. Well now Special prosecutor Jack Smith has appealed directly to SCOTUS for a ruling on this Constitutional issue. Judge Tanya Chutkan has now paused the trial until a ruling is handed down and SCOTUS has agreed to take up the matter in an expedited hearing.

The potential outcomes could include P001135809 losing all his arguments of immunity, which would essentially hand Jack Smith and Fani Willis in Georgia a slam dunk conviction of him for the charges he is facing in both jurisdictions. There are various other scenarios, none of which are good for P001135809 but at the extreme it would also mean the President Biden is not accountable, meaning not only simple things like his unlikely impeachment vanishes, but that he could take actions, similar or even more extreme than those that occurred on January 6th and, thanks to Trump, not only retain office but put all of his critics in jail and be immune from retaliatory action.

Poor Trump, just as he was about to address the faithful in Iowa he received news that the Colorado Supreme Court had ruled in a 4-3 decision that he is ineligible under the 14th Amendment to stand for the Office of President. The ruling has been stayed until January 4th to allow him to appeal to SCOTUS, but following that date if the SCOTUS has not taken up the case he will be off the ballot in Colorado.

This ruling is closely tied to another pending SCOTUS matter which asks whether the Presidency is in fact an Office under the US Constitution.

Both cases have profound implications for both the law and politics in the US.
