In order for one to listen to a different perspective one needs something called an open mind. However, it appears for many Trump supporters their minds are not only thoroughly closed, they are bolted and barricaded!!

Trump concocted the scenario of discouraging his supporters not to wear masks and vote in person whilst Biden encouraged mail-in ballots during a time of pandemic. Very sensible.
Then Trump said the mail-ins should be discounted for silly reasons.
Then he accuses voter fraud, yet mail-ins have been around for ages and are the norm, and to be counted if done properly.

What I fail to see is how Trump declares fraud on something he himself orchestrated when the shoe is on the other foot.
Then the steady steam of angry protestors, fake news, repeatedly dismissed vexatious litigations at state level.

The spiteful blocking of courtesies afforded him my Obama for a smooth transition, the pressures being put state officials to commit fraud and tilt Trump's way. Is no bar too low?
Yes, someone is trying to steal the election and the world is aghast.
It's Trump who wants to mess with the votes.

Thank goodness states are ignoring the litigious wrath of a wannabe dictator, for life. Historians are already typing furiously.

trump don't have to concede, thats probably well beyond his capability as a human. He has lost. What he does need to do is provide President Elect Biden the chance to get his government in order. No job puts you in charge the day after they fired the previous workers the day before. Use some common sense, things have to be done prior to the time when trump is forced out of the white house. I hope trump and family don't attend the inauguration. The big problem also is, trump is not doing anything but watch TV and golf. Hes got no will to govern, while thousands die each day from Covid.

Pennsylvania pours cold water on Trump’s voter fraud claims

Pennsylvania’s supreme court has rejected one of Trump’s loudest post-election claims

Good morning. Pennsylvania has become the latest state to dismiss Trump’s attempts to overturn the election result. Yesterday, the state’s supreme court ruled that Philadelphia election officials did not improperly block the Trump campaign from observing the counting of mail-in ballots – one of the president’s loudest post-election claims. Pennsylvania was a key swing state in the election, flipping its 20 electoral college seats to Biden by a narrow margin of 1.2%.

On the other side of the rust belt, Republican certifiers in Michigan have U-turned and confirmed a Joe Biden win. The state’s largest county had refused to officially call the state for Biden, despite a clear win, but changed course after Democrats, election experts and members of the public warned it was a dangerous overriding of public will.

Trump has fired the head of the US cybersecurity agency which rejected his accusations of electoral fraud. Christopher Krebs, a Trump appointee, said last week that he expected to be fired, after his agency released a statement refuting claims of voter fraud and insisting that the 2020 election had been “most secure” ever. In a tweet on Tuesday, Trump said that Krebs’ statement had been “highly inaccurate”, and that he was now “terminated”.

It is difficult to overturn an American election result, as President Trump was reminded on Friday, when his campaign lost in courts in Michigan and Pennsylvania and dropped a challenge in Arizona. On Monday, four cases in those two states and also Georgia and Wisconsin, all brought by the conservative lawyer James Bopp on behalf of Trump voters, were also dropped. On Thursday, the Trump campaign dropped a remaining federal suit in Michigan.

Mr. Trump has shown nothing like systemic fraud in any of the lawsuits, 19 and counting, that his campaign and allies have filed since Election Day as they seek to block certification of Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory in the Electoral College. The allegations of fraud are a smattering of unverified accusations about the voting or counting process, usually directly affecting too few ballots to change a state’s results.

Claim: The plaintiffs were two poll challengers — representatives of the Republican Party allowed to monitor the vote counting — who alleged fraud and misconduct during the vote count last week at the TCF Center in Detroit. The lawsuit asked the court to block certification of the election results in Wayne County (which includes Detroit), where more than 867,000 people voted.
On Friday, Chief Judge Timothy M. Kenny of Wayne County Circuit Court denied the petition from the pro-Trump side. “It would be an unprecedented exercise of judicial activism for this court to stop the certification process of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers,” Judge Kenny wrote. “Plaintiffs’ interpretation of events is incorrect and not credible.”

Claim: This is a federal suit that repeats the pending state-court claims of fraud and misconduct in Costantino v. Detroit. The Trump campaign is similarly seeking to block Michigan’s certification of the vote.
Status: On Thursday, the Trump team dropped the suit.

Claim: Four voters sought to exclude all of the votes cast in three counties from Michigan’s total based on allegations of fraud and irregularities. Without corroboration, the plaintiffs said that officials counted the ballots of ineligible voters. The complaint also included unverified accounts of software glitches and dead people voting that circulated on Fox News and The Epoch Times.
Status: On Monday, the suit was dropped.

Claims: Two voters who were also poll challengers at the TCF Center made allegations about the counting process similar to the ones that Judge Kenny rejected in Costantino v. Detroit. They asked the court to block final certification of the county’s election results until an independent audit had been conducted or a special master appointed to investigate claims of fraud.
Status: The plaintiffs dropped their suit on Wednesday, a few days after filing it.

Status: The plaintiffs dropped their suit on Wednesday, a few days after filing it.

Claim: During the ballot counting in Michigan, the Trump campaign sued to stop it. In an affidavit, one poll watcher said another, whom she did not name, told her that she was told by still other poll workers to change the date on which a ballot was received.
Status: At a hearing, Judge Cynthia Stephens of the Michigan Court of Claims characterized the affidavit as, “‘I heard someone else say something,’” and said, “Tell me how that is not hearsay. Come on now!” Judge Stephens dismissed the suit on Nov. 5.

Claim: A Republican poll challenger and the Election Integrity Fund, a nonprofit organization, sued to stop election workers in Detroit from hand duplicating ballots that could not be read by a machine. The suit also sought to delay certification of the results.
Status: Judge Kenny dismissed the suit on Nov. 6. “Plaintiffs fail to identify the occurrence and scope of any alleged violation,” he wrote.

Claim: On behalf of a voter, the Trump campaign appealed the decision by the Philadelphia County Board of Elections to count five categories of mail-in ballots.
Status: On Friday, Judge James Crumlish of the Court of Common Pleas denied all of the challenges to all five categories of ballots.

Claim: Four voters sought to block all votes from Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware and Allegheny Counties from being included in the state total, claiming that the state violated the right to equal protection by allowing differing absentee balloting practices among counties.
Status: On Thursday night, the law firm representing the Trump campaign, Porter Wright, asked to withdraw. . On Monday, the case was dropped, along with the other three brought by Mr. Bopp.

Claim: The Trump campaign and others sued the Montgomery County Board of Elections for notifying voters before Election Day to allow them to fill in missing information on ballot envelopes.
Status: On Friday, Judge Haaz denied the petition to disqualify the ballots.

Claims: The Trump campaign claimed that some ballots in Maricopa County were filled out with Sharpie pens.
Status: On Friday, the Trump campaign dropped the suit.

What an embarrassing situation ! He has become an International joke. Our tiny Anglican church met via Zoom on Sunday here in the middle of the UK and we prayed for strength for Biden and Kamala Harris to get through this.

Are you hoping for a big success in 2024, or else one of the increasingly few hoping for greatness from your revered leader again next year?
