Our dog Tina has trouble with her annual glands this has been going on for a couple of years but this time the vet wants to put some drops up her bum, we agreed to this but they have to do this every Friday for four weeks, they gave us the drops to bring with us, on looking at the box it said EAR DROPS.
Has anyone heard of this?

Perhaps the drops the vet wants to prescribe have a dual purpose.
For use in the ear or to treat anal glands.
The simple solution would be to clarify the situation with the vet.

I don't know about drops for dogs - but Coloxyl, a stool softener that can be oral drops or suppositories for humans, the same drops can also be ear drops to soften wax prior to ear syringing.

Same sort of thing, I would guess.
