Be careful before taking your dog out in this hot weather.
Even if it is cooler and windy. ,,the pavements can still be really hot.
Do the 5 second back of your hand test ,,,,,,,
Their pads are really sensitive ,can burn easily.

A little child paddling pool in the garden with cool water in,will keep your dog cool and happy splashing around.

So sorry, I’ve heard about the excessive heat in UK. As Rosie suggested using a fan, placing a large bowl or block of ice
Behind the fan can help put out cooler air. Each summer when temps reach 3 digits, low 40’s in Celsius my daughter the animal lover fills a small bucket then freeze it, to put up on our roof right over the nest on the under side in the rafters to cool the baby Birds who appeared to be gasping in heat.

Fill your hot water bottle with cold water, good on the feet and back of the knees.

Here in the UK, we are in for another heatwave.....Im dreading it !
Id love our dog to have a paddling pool, but he just wont go near water !
I sometimes wrap a damp towel around his body to cool him down, and
wipe his face with a cold cloth.....bless his cotton socks !
Stay cool....
