Losing a pet is never easy, please know that others understand your sense of loss & are thinking of you. My sincere condolences Madison.

I am pieces of all the places I have been, and the people I have loved.
I've been stitched together by song lyrics, book quotes,
adventure, late night conversations, moonlight,
and the smell of coffee.

I am also sorry for your loss. Only pet people can comprehend the depth of the pain of the loss of an animal. I have had to bury too many pet family members in my life. I wish there was something to be said to help, but only time will heal.

Madison wrote: Last saturday, Tuff my male cat fell to his death. I live on the 14th floor and we have a balcony, I never let my cats go out there but sometimes they slip out when I go out. Last saturday I went out and Tuff sneaked out. I have seen him sneak out and jump on the planter before, but this time there was a layer of snow on the planter and he slipped off and fell. There was nothing I could do but stare in disbelief. Then I grabbed a large towel and ran to the elevator. I found him, dead in the garden behind the building. I wrapped him in the towel and Sunday my daughter drove us to the pet cemetery. I've been crying myself to sleep every since. Fluff my other cat misses him as much as I do, she keeps wandering around looking in his hiding places in the hope of finding him.

I am so sorry to read this. So so sorry. :(

I'd like to add my heartfelt sympathy to this list of those who share in your loss and wish you some comfort in the knowledge that you gave Tuff a lovely life and lots of love. Sending you hugs x

I don't know what to do with Fluff, she keeps looking for Tuff and at night sits in their sleeping corner and crys for an hour. I been thinking of getting another cat to keep her company. She is 8 years old and I don't know if she would get along with another cat, and I wouldn't know if I should get an older cat her age or a kitten. I was going to ask the vet but she is on vacation.
