There are many far more serious issues for the uk to worry about than dinghies, the whole scenario is a government smokescreen to cover up what is really going on.

James Cleverly, Home Secretary , arrives in Rwanda today to sign a new treaty for the Government’s asylum plan; part of PM Sunak’s mission to make the deal watertight.
Yvette Cooper, Shadow Home Secretary, commented that we have sent three Home Secretaries out there, that’s three more than asylum seekers !
I wonder if the Government will deign to tell us how much more this is costing than the 140 million we have already paid out ?

And isn’t it ironic that each one of them is a child of immigrants??
So they wouldn’t even be here if their laws had been around then.

Not necessarily. They came from British Commonwealth countries.

Robert Jenrick has resigned because he has strong disagreements with the Government with regard to the Rwanda Policy. He does not think Rishi Sunak’s emergency legislation to revive the stalled asylum plan would ‘end the merry go round that has paralysed the scheme so far. ‘

It has been suggested that we leave the ECHR - European Convention on Human Rights. Rwanda has recently endeavoured to clean up its reputation with regard to Human Rights ( so we are told ) It begs the question, would Rwanda want to be associated with a country that had chosen to exit the European Convention on Human Rights ?
