Wish our appointments here were as fast as some of you others, I think that is wonderful.

I see mine today and prior to this, it has had to be cancelled and rescheduled four times in
the past four months (doctors in surgery and I did not want to see their back up partners, so
here we go again today. This though is a specialist doctor Orthopedics.

Otherwise regular doctor PCP, always available and short waiting time.

Got my repeat prescriptions last week OK, and even got my Flu jab on Saturday with no problems or delays. Have ended up with a swollen arm where I got the Flu jab, and it's sore as well.

That happens and it may be sore or aches for a couple of days, but if the swelling worsens give your surgery a call.
Happy to help.

We have two Doctors more or less full time, but they also have to visit two old peoples centers, be on call for accidents, also work in the Hospital 1 day a week, but can still get an appointment for next day. Somthing i suppose people in the U K dream about, is you can often find an empty waiting room, and its always possible to talk to him about football or his family,
Ours is another world away from people , noise , traffic , pubs, clubs entertainment.

We can get next day appointments, sometimes same day.
Happy to help.

As I said previously, I've never had issues getting an appointment.

Take Tuesday this week. I called the surgery, the doctor rang me for a phone appointment a couple of hours later however, due to the nature of the issue, asked me to pop into the surgery the next morning. While I was there, he took bloods and when I called for the resulst the next day, was advised they want to repeat them so I'm going at 8am this Tuesday.

I have to admit that, in my opinion and that of other patients there, my surgery is one of the best run in the area, given the negative experiences a neighbour has had recently with his surgery. So glad I'm registered there and would be reluctant to move house if it meant having to move doctors too.

Use an app that allows you to schedule an appointment with a doctor (general, neurological, ortho etc) or office location at a specific time on a calendar. Once you schedule an appointment, you get a text reminder of the appointment time every half hour for the next 24hrs until you add headaches to your original complaint. The urgent cares have popped up everywhere and are good for minor stuff like if you drop a motor on your toe or cut the back of your hand on a sheet metal panel but because it’s -17 degrees out you didn’t notice it until you got back in the truck and realized you could see bone. Stuff like that. The same app gives you test results, prognosis, diagnosis, and doctors notes. Luckily the office/lab will call to follow up to explain all the stuff that’s written in Latin.
The app also has a cost calculator for procedures to remind you the expenses in having kids.

Sounds very similar to how things are currently being done in Wales. Some pharmacists also offer the flu vaccine over here now.
