Really? how do you knows this?..

It was in the papers 4 years ago the suspicion .
Imo the bakers had every right to refuse to honour a order promoting a campaign
they didn’t want to be involved in

So what’s wrong with that
Do you think it’s likely anyone would admit to deliberately set up .
This wasnt a happy couple wanting a birthday cake they were gay rights activists .
the bakers didnt object to the customer just the wording on the cake surely everyone should have the right to that .
If a Tory walked into an openly labour bakery and wanted a cake excelling the virtues of voting Tory does that mean if there was a refusal could they also be sued .

Well, as the customer was a not infrequent caller to the shop it's a fair bet he knew their stand as committed Christians. I believe the shop front has a Christian symbol on display.
Anyway, the highest court in the land has ruled in favour of the bakers who broke no law.

How would having a Christian symbol on display make anyone know they were against gay marriage??

Plenty of Christians are in favour of it.

It was widely reported at the time that the bakers were well known in the area as committed Christians in the Presbyterian church and as such would hold such views of gay marriage. It's all water under the bridge now, commonsense has prevailed for once.

What is wrong is that it is purely hearsay and not stated fact.

So the Christian symbol wouldn't make one presume that?

I agree - it wouldn't. Since many Christians are in favour of gay marriage.

But your post did seem to be implying that.
