A few races have passed by in the new season and what a season so far for Redbull Racing.
They have being top dogs for sure and now have both drivers 1&2 in the driver championship and the are top of the tree in the constructors championship.

Aston Martin with Fernando Alonso has been brilliant and if it wasn't for Redbulls dominance Alonso would have been seen the chequered flag and top place on the podium, 4 podiums in 5 races for Fernando is brilliant.
Ferrari seem to be struggling a bit they seem to have pace and then lose it in the race? Not a clue what is going on there.
Mercedes are struggling oddly as we see George Russell flying in qualifying and then always around the top 6 in races but they just haven't got the pace Aston Martin and Redbull have on raceday.
Lewis Hamilton seems to have a slower car than George? he had one really good race but he looks a good few yards off the pace and on average is finishing around the top 6 but a good bit behind the Redbulls in time.

The season will see upgrades coming in and it will be interesting to see who brings what.
They all need the set up Redbull have when DRS is enabled as their cars fly with the wing open.
Redbull have had their problems but managed to get the cars to the end of the race so credit to them.

Early doors yet in the season but it is looking so far as a outright competition between Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen for the drivers title, so far they have been very diplomatic and still congratulate each other regardless of who finishes 1st or 2nd and say they both have the hunger to win but they will both respect each other on track and so far no accidents between them or cutting up sending one wide or spinning.
It is good to see two drivers going for it in a honest diplomatic way.
Will that continue as the season goes on? I hope so but F1 drivers are well known for being a selfish bunch when titles are on offer.

Anyone else watching this season? It has been very enjoyable so far.

I've watched them, been some good races.
They have 3 races in the US and one in Canada this year.

We will see how it unfolds through the season.

My O H is a big F1 fan. Before we had kids he used to go all around Europe following The Williams team. He also went to Canada and the US. We both watch and think it has been enjoyable this season so far.

Last one out was Miami and we have Texas 22Oct and Vegas 18Nov left in the USA.

So far so good I think this season has been very enjoyable.
Obviously I am slightly biased on that as I am a huge Max Verstappen fan, But hand on heart if Sergio Perez won it this time I would be happy for him as I have always liked Checo he is a good and honest man.

The noise from the cars back then from the v12 engines was something to experience.
It vibrated through your body when they were all on the grid waiting for the lights to change it was awesome.
I witnessed it at Silverstone a few times.
Always said if I won the lottery I would have to spend a year doing the whole f1 calendar it would be amazing.

I only ever got as far as Siverstone. Yes, I remember the noise . It was horrendous. I also remember being amazed when I saw all of the helicopters landing after the race to take people home. Last time I went Clay Regazzoni won ! My O H went all over the place, Monaco was his favourite. This was in the 1970s. Now when he tells the children and grandchildren about it they say,”Wow, granddad was cool”.
Yes, he was but granny put her foot down!

I had a look at the flooding and it is horrendous, Cancelling the race had to be done.
A pity as I was looking forward to Imola as it is one of the greatest tracks on the calendar now it has been altered for safety.

I race Imola on my Gran Turismo driving simulator regular as I love that track and know it like the back of my hand!
