I don’t think I’ve ever been addicted to tea or coffee - but I have found it is quite easy to get into (and out of) a habit of drinking coffee or tea.

I used to drink coffee quite often when I worked in an office with a coffee machine - then when I retired, my part-time work took me to an office where drinking tea was “the norm”

Now I’m fully retired, I seem to have lost the habit of tea and coffee drinking - I may order coffee if I am in a cafe or restaurant and I have a machine for making fresh coffee at home but I only tend to use it when I have visitors.
I sometimes make a mug of Yorkshire tea at home if I fancy one but most of the time I prefer to drink tap water at home - or if the sun’s over the YardArm, I plump for Alcohol! (;;) tongue.png wink.png

I don't drink much, if any of either one. I will on occasion, have a glass of iced tea during the summer months.

Have been trying a few different packs of coffee at the moment, have had them a while for something else, but changed my mind so just using them in the percolator to use up at the moment .

I drink a lot of both.

I start the day with a cup of Earl Grey or a Orange pekoe tea followed by a cup of black coffee.

Another black coffee at 10 am and after lunch.
Then the rest of the day is spent drinking green tea.
And infusion after dinner.

I drink very little coffee, and it has to be decaf because of hypertension.

I have a cup of tea when I get up, one small coffee mid morning, tea at lunchtime, another cup of tea mid afternoon (I am having one now…..then no more tea or coffee that day.
Plenty of cold drinks in between. smile.png

I have never learned to like the taste of coffee, but I sure get my caffeine by drinking tea. I only drink it very cold, like most people in the Southern US, but I have learned to like it without any sweetener, which is definitely not typically Southern. I even drink iced tea for breakfast. This proved to be a problem when I was on vacation one year in Arizona and New Mexico. When eating breakfast in restaurants in that area, I asked for iced tea, and I was told more than once, "We have hot tea, but we don`t have iced tea." To this, I replied," Well, just put some ice in it." I thought it was funny, but felt kind of sorry for the waitresses. I know they must have been embarrassed when they realized how silly they had been, but I had to have my morning iced tea!

We bought these for a giggle they only cost £1.49 each in Aldi.

I tried the Salted Caramel one and the Biscuit one and they were not for me, I haven't tried the Jaffa one yet.
My stepdaughter loves the biscuit one.

I can't see me getting addicted lol

I love coffee but have cut down a lot recently. I just haven't got the same urge anymore to have 10 mugs a day, now I have maybe 1-3 at most in a day.
