Fourth of July family picnic and get together. Maybe we can have it this year!

My brother was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer 4 years ago (at the age of 52). His prognosis was very poor.... but 4 years later, he's cancer free and living life to his fullest. My sister, my brother and his wife, and I have started a tradition of an annual siblings vacation to an all inclusive resort in Cancun... My sister is a travel agent so she sets us up with really good deals and we trust her to pick the spot. We had to cancel last year's trip because of Covid, but have booked this year's trip for over Labor Day. We should all have our vaccines by then-- sister in law is a nurse so she's had hers. I am old, so I've had the first shot and second one in two weeks... and hopefully sister and bro will have had theirs also... Here's to sibling vacays.....

We use to have a family reunion every year in May. That was my great aunt's birthday month. When she passed away a the age of 103, they stopped having them.

I'm happy to hear your brother got okay.

As long as I am with people I love, doing whatever it is,is very special.

Last few years have visited a family member, either at Christmas or in the new year, but not done it for the last couple of years due to the Pandemic. As soon as I can I will be off the visit family and friends when the lockdown ends.
