I have done that on more than one occasion. The last time I did it Mr A went through the kitchen bin to find it because I was distraught.

Recently I dropped a bottle of milk that was cold and wet. The milk ended up on a kitchen mat which I had to throw out.

I have been known to burn hard boiled eggs.

That's where pets come in handy, especially Labradors. Dropped a poach egg and my niece's Labrador snaffled it before my pooch was out of his bed.

Long ago now. Was heating up some oatmeal. Friend stops by and needs a ride to work.
Sure, let's go. Forgot about the oatmeal. Came back to a house filled with smoke.

I got an electric shock once repairing a grill, about 35 years ago. On the plus side I did fix it.
