Their customer service is undermanned a 30 min wait is normal .
When you manage to get through after listening to a mindless loop of music ,promised action to right your query is rarely carried out .
When my contract ended a year ago I informed plusnet I was cancelling my account ,
I still receive monthly emails requesting payment, typical :laugh:

Any of the customer services that have you pressing more than one button on the phone.

If they want me to press a button to get me through to the right department that's fine with me.... but having got me through to the right department....please don't give me further options of buttons to press!!

Once I have pressed that first button.....I then want a proper person to speak to!!!!

It has to be SSE, my electricity provider. I have been at war with them for ages, they don't seem to communicate between their departments. I spend hours on the phone trying to sort out their errors only to be faced with the same thing happening time and again.
Usually after I phone in a complaint, I get a call to ask if I would undertake a survey for efficiency purposes. It starts by pressing buttons and buttons, no human at the other end to talk to results in much gnashing of teeth.....

Any kind of "tech" problems seem to be routed to someone on the far side of the globe with a heavy foreign accent who is difficult to understand, or to a female with a faint, sub-audible voice... :(

Always had good customer service, but the time it takes to get through is a problem. I usually make a cup of coffee, put the phone on 'speaker' and wait patiently.....

Have had bad customer service from various companies in the past. I always reward them by moving to someone else, and when they ask why, I always give them a broadside of angry rhetoric.
