A £2000 fine per skip it takes to clear the rubbish away... and the culprits clear it up.

Frankie im sure you agree catching them is the biggest problem .Im lead to believe that Local law says if caught and convicted in Magistrates court there is a maximum fine of £50.000 and up to 12 months in prison , Its open ended on both in Crown court .

I don't know the answer to your question but naming and shaming would go some way to making amends and I mean in a public way , put their faces on billboards , in the local press , even on TV at the end of local news etc .

I have no sympathy with these perpetrators but understand why they take the risk when the local council charge £175 per ton to tip .

There is a local lane near me popular with horse riders and walkers and unfortunately with the tippers, I know the council / environment agency and police have now installed covert cctv to try and catch the culprits , we will see what happens .

I had never heard that term either but as for anyone who litters or leaves garbage around there used to be signs all over the place for $2,000.00 fine for littering. I believe that still should be enforced.
The problem would be collecting it.
These days just because someone gets a fine doesn't mean they will pay it.

You may not agree with me but I thoughts are to beat with a birch put in stocks so everyone can express their thoughts with rotten tomatoes and then made to pay and possibly put away for a bit.

The key is prevention. The key to prevention is deterant.
The key to deterant is enforcement
Theres no chance of any of that happening.
Theres no political will to stop the problem
Deterants must be enforced with zero tolerance. The punishment must hit the guilty where it hurts the most
Therefore its essential to create profiles of those who flytip and shape punishment to suit
Theres as much chance of this happening as corbyn has of finding a seat in an empty train
